Department of Nutritional Sciences
The Department of Nutritional Sciences (DNS) prepares students for practice in dietetics from entry to advanced and expert levels of practice. In January 2014, the Coordinated Program (CP) in Dietetics transitioned from being a track in the BS in Health Sciences (BSHS) to its own degree within DNS as a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND). SHRP Alumni Association’s Fall 2014 Golf Outing Fundraiser (October 7th ) On-Line Registration Now Available

Registration is now open for our Fall Golf Outing on October 7th . Join us atHawk Pointe in Washington, NJ.
The event will be a fun day to enjoy the company of students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends. Proceeds from the Golf  Outing support student scholarships at Rutgers—School of Health Related Professions.  Scholarships are awarded annually to assist our future Allied Health Professionals with funding for school. Special Olympics Debuts Young Athletes Festival

The Young Athletes Program was developed over the last decade by a Rutgers physical therapist to help young children with special needs develop cognitive, social & motor skills while being introduced to the world of sports. This month the program debuted its Young Athletes Festival at the Special Olympics in NJ to show firsthand its many benefits to parents, teachers & visitors from other states.
