Sixth Annual Research Day
2015 SAVE THE DATE
Theme: “The Importance of Research in Clinical Practice”
Rutgers-School of Health Related Professions (SHRP) Research Day recognizes and emphasizes the importance of research conducted in the school of Health Related Professions. Research Day is a great networking opportunity for students and faculty members from different departments within the school and to augment faculty-student interactions through research.
To better explore the theme ““The Importance of Research in Clinical Practice”, there will be a keynote panel exploring research in clinical settings: Dr. Carrie D. King,
Associate Professor of Dietetics and Nutrition at the University of Alaska Anchorage and Ms. Chris Charles, Johnson and Johnson, Director, Clinical Research/Operations. Dr. Scott Parrott will moderate the session.
Students will present posters supported by their faculty/mentor. Selected students will provide an oral presentation on their research project.
All students presenting a poster will be considered for the Student Scholarship and Research Awards to be presented at Rutgers-SHRP’s Convocation. Local and distance students are eligible to participate. More information and instructions will be posted below on March 16, 2015.
