Graduate Certificate: The online graduate Certificate in Interprofessional Health Professions Education is a short term  program designed exclusively for health care professionals who wish to become educators or who are educators but would like more formal education regarding various aspects of teaching. The Certificate features courses that help instructors develop the range of skills necessary to teach in any instructional situation, including the classroom, laboratory, clinic, community, and online. Furthermore, the certificate is designed to increase a faculty’s knowledge and skills in the areas of management and leadership in health professions education, developing and assessing curricula, and student assessment. Completion of 15 credits results in a graduate Certificate in Interprofessional Health Professions Education.

Master of Science in Health Sciences: The credits may be applied to the Master of Science in Health Sciences as a track within the program. The application of credits towards the Master’s program can occur upon completion of the Certificate, or while a Certificate student. Alternatively, one does not have to enroll in the Certificate Program to be eligible to declare Health Professions Education as the track for the Master of Science in Health Sciences.

Tailored Track
