Graduate Programs in Clinical Nutrition
Continuing Professional Education
The SHRP Graduate Programs in Clinical Nutrition, in conjunction with the Rutgers-Center for Advanced and Continuing Education, is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider (Provider Number UN001) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Academic courses may be taken for continuing education credit. CPE documentation will be provided upon successful completion of the course requirements to include in your Professional Development Portfolio for the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Each course hour is equivalent to 15 CEU. For the current course schedule, click here.

Nutrition Focused Physical Examination- A Physical Assessment Workshop for Registered Dietitians
Our Nutrition Focused Physical Examination- A Physical Assessment Workshop for Registered Dietitians is offered as an in-person workshop which includes discussions and demonstration of techniques, and practice under professional supervision. Program learning outcomes to be attained at the novice level include physical assessment skills: malnutrition characteristics; measurement of vital signs; physical assessment of fluid status; assessment of ‘normal’ breath and heart sounds; intra- and extra-oral assessment; and dysphagia screening.
