|New Jersey College Student and Parent Consumer Information Act
In January, 2010, the New Jersey legislature passed the New Jersey College Student and Parent Consumer Information Act. This Act requires all four-year public institutions of higher education in New Jersey to provide comprehensive information on the cost of attendance, the graduation rates of admitted students, and the faculty of the institution. The purpose of this information is to maximize the awareness of students and their families of the costs associated with enrollment in the institution, the institution’s success in ensuring the graduation of its students, and the composition of the teaching faculty that students will encounter. This information is to be posted on each institution’s website for public review.
The UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE & DENTISTRY OF NEW JERSEY is not a four-year institution - as defined as an institution which enrolls first-time, full-time students. However, Rutgers School of Nursing and School of Health Related Professions enroll undergraduate students with advanced standing. Rutgers is posting and will submit data to the comparative report compiled by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education as it relates to these students only
